The Cuban art exhibition conceived as part of the Festival Artes de Cuba, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, was a success. Four installations by Roberto Fabelo were shown at the Nations Hall on the main floor, including Mundos (2005-2018), Torres (nine metal towers intervened with drawings, 2005-2018) and Cafedral (2017). Ronda Infinita (2015), previously shown at the Fortress of San Carlos de La Cabaña during the 12th Biennial of Havana, was also exhibited.

Also during May CernudaArte displayed a stand at Art New York. This 2018 edition showed the selection of 85 galleries, with works by 1200 artists, including those who exhibited their works in Context, dedicated to cutting-edge talent, emerging or mid-career artists.

May continued to be an excellent month for Fabelo's work, also in what’s related to the art market. Six of his artworks were part of Christie's spring edition—three canvases, a bronze sculpture, a silk and a watercolor—and all exceeded their estimated prices. Again a record was broken with the oil on canvas titled Omega 3, which reached the figure of $275,000.00.

And to begin a new period, we announce the participation of Fabelo in EXPO Chigaco, from September 27 to 30, represented by Cernuda Arte. This fair officially kicks off the fall art season at the United States, and is one of the most valued platforms for contemporary global culture and art.
